We are looking for 2 individuals to join the commissioning team to support the Departmental Management Team deliver the commissioning agenda and demonstrate real outcomes for our community.
Within the Children’ s Trust we are developing individual and strategic commissioning functions to ensure the aspirations of our community are met through effective and responsive services which offer a range of choices to meet agreed and identified needs.
You will need a professional qualification in health, social care, education or other relevant discipline and have substantial experience in commissioning services.

Consulting – To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to working on Strategic Development for PCTs in the Choice and Competition Agenda. This would be on Associate type contracts.
Opportunity 2
This opportunity offers the chance for a senior individual to become part of a larger unit that’s been awarded a contract by a PCT for advisory services in the commissioning space. It’s particularly relevant for those individuals seeking to broaden their experience by working across a number of different projects and organizations. Be this as part of a long term career in consulting or a desire to gain strategic skills in the private sector before moving back into a general management role within the NHS or a health sector company.

The analysis of the need for short break care for children.
This position needs someone who is methodical, has an eye for detail and has initiative. You do not need to be vastly experienced in commissioning, but need to understand the concept that your work will influence the commissioning options and decisions that we will make in the autumn. You need to be able to apply a challenging and critical view to the information in front of you.
It goes without saying that you need to be motivated and driven to achieve deadlines.
You may need to do some basic things like data verification in order to reach out to parents to speak to.
